Notice at collection

At or before the point we collect anything from you, this is what we collect and why. Identifiers: your name, phone number and email address, collected to answer you and to work on the search you asked for. Commercial information: the vehicle you want, your budget and your trade-in, collected to find and negotiate a vehicle for you. Internet activity: basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, that our website host logs to keep the site working and secure. Financial information you choose to give on our pre-qualification form: employment status, time at your job, a monthly income range and a down payment amount, to talk with you about financing a vehicle from our own inventory. That form never asks for a Social Security number, date of birth or bank details. On a car we find for you at another dealership, the credit application is handled by that dealership or a lender you choose, on their own forms.

What we never collect on this website

We do not take credit applications here. We never ask for a Social Security number, a date of birth, a driver license number or bank account details through this website, by text or by email. Treat any message claiming to be from us that asks for them as fraudulent.

How we use it

To respond to you, to find and negotiate a vehicle you asked us to find, to coordinate with the selling dealership and any lender you choose, and to keep the records the law requires. We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you.

Who we disclose it to

Only the parties needed to do what you asked, and only what that task requires: the selling dealership on your transaction; a lender or finance company you ask us to work with; government agencies where required; an insurer you name; and the service providers who host our website, forms, email and records. We do not disclose your information to data brokers, lead resellers or advertising networks.

We do not sell or share your personal information

We have not sold personal information or shared it for cross-context behavioral advertising in the preceding twelve months, and we do not do so now. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Financing on our own inventory

Information you give us to finance a vehicle from our own inventory is also covered by our Financial Privacy Notice under the federal Gramm-Leach-Bliley Act and the California Financial Information Privacy Act. Where those laws apply, they govern how we share that information.

How long we keep it

Inquiries that do not become transactions are kept only while they are useful and then deleted. Records connected to a completed transaction are kept for the periods set by law.

How we protect it

We limit access to the people who need it, use reputable service providers, and keep our records secured. No system is perfect, and we will tell you if something happens that the law requires us to report.

Your rights

You may ask us what personal information we hold about you and where it came from; ask for a copy of it; ask us to correct it; ask us to delete it; ask us to limit how we use sensitive information; and direct us not to sell or share it. Exercising any of these rights costs you nothing and we will never treat you differently for doing so. Some records we are required by law to keep cannot be deleted, and we will tell you when that applies.

How to make a request

We will verify who you are before we act, using information we already hold. An authorized agent may make a request for you with your written permission. We respond within 45 days and will tell you if we need more time.

Browser privacy signals

If your browser or an extension sends an opt-out preference signal such as Global Privacy Control, we treat it as a valid request not to sell or share the personal information associated with that browser.

Do Not Track and other sites

We do not use advertising trackers or analytics that follow you across other websites, so a browser Do Not Track signal does not change how this site works. The maps on our Home, About and Contact pages are embedded from Google Maps. Google may collect information such as your IP address and use cookies when the map loads, under Google’s own privacy policy. Links to Google, Instagram, Facebook and dealerships take you to sites with their own policies.

Text messages

If you check the consent box on one of our forms, we may call or text you about your inquiry. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or lease. Reply STOP to any text to opt out, or tell us by phone or email.

Changes

If we change this policy we will post the new version here with a new date.
